Position: MDA Systems Engineer/Analyst (Multiple Positions, All Skill Levels)

Location: Huntsville, AL

 

Position Description: MagnaCom, Inc. in Huntsville AL, is currently seeking highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in Systems Engineering/Analysis. The candidates will be responsible for pre/post analysis of Test Events to include component and system level ground tests.  Specifically applicable:  familiarity with test documentation (GED, DTPs, DTEPs…), analysis and testing of DoD systems, major acquisition program, missile ground testing, and System of Systems ground tests.

 

Position Skills and Qualifications:

·    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math or other technical degree is required

·    Must have strong experience in systems engineering analysis of DoD missile systems.   Must be comfortable working with at least one of the following:  MatLab, C++, or other test log file parsing systems.  Familiarity with LIDS, TRADES, SAT, OSD or other Missile Defense related tools/simulations is a plus.  Working knowledge of DoD Missile Defense Systems is a plus.   

·    Effective verbal and written communication skills

 

 

Position: MDA Software Engineer (Multiple Positions, All Levels)

Position Description: MagnaCom, located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, is currently seeking individuals with a background in software application and model development Candidates are expected to be able to create detailed level software designs from customer provided requirement and interface specifications, produce accurate documentation capturing the design, and then implement and conduct unit test of the produced software.

 

Position Skills and Qualifications: 

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required

·        U.S. Citizenship with an active Security Clearance is required

·        C/C++; Windows or Linux development environments is required

·        Working experience with SEI-CMM/SEI-CMMI is highly desirable

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills is highly desirable

·        Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual contributor is highly desirable

 

 

Position: NASA Flight Software Engineer (Multiple Positions, All Levels)

Location: Huntsville, AL

 

Position Description: MagnaCom, located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, is currently seeking individuals with a background in NASA Flight Software Development. Candidates are expected to be able to create detailed level software designs from customer provided requirement and interface specifications, produce accurate documentation capturing the design, and then implement and conduct unit test of the produced software.

 

Position Skills and Qualifications: 

·        BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

·        C/C++, Windows, Vista or Linux development environments

·        Experience: compiler/translator development, kernel/user space concepts, device driver programming, multi-threaded distributed environment, shared memory access, modeling & simulation, Eclipse tool, C++ GUI development

·        Effective verbal and written communication skills is highly desirable

·        Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual contributor is highly desirable
